Peanut Butter Frosting (Jenny P) and Gooey Chocolate Cake

Ingredients: (Frosting)

  • I cube butter

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 4 tbsp milk
Directions:

  1. Mix butter and peanut butter until blended

  2. Add sugar and beat until well blended

  3. Add milk and beat until smooth. (makes about 3 cups)
Ingredients: (Gooey Cake)

  • Any chocolate cake mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 snack pack of chocolate pudding
Directions:

  1. Add cake mix, eggs, softened butter, and pudding to bowl

  2. Mix until smooth

  3. Bake at 350 degrees F as directed by the box.  (mine above is a bundt pan which cooks for 47 min)

Macaroni and Cheese (Jennifer Battle)

Ingredients:  (I always add about 1/2 cup more cheese)
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow mac
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar
Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cook macaroni at full boil for 6 minute (NOT LONGER)
  3. while mac is cooking, melt butter in medium sauce pan
  4. add worchestershire sauce and stir in salt pepper and mustard powder
  5. cook over low heat until mixture in smooth and bubbly
  6. stir in milk
  7. heat to boil/ stir constantly
  8. stir in 4 cups cheese until melted
  9. Drain mac/ place in large casserole dish
  10. Pour cheese mixture over noodles and stir until completely mixed
  11. Cover with 1/2-1 cup more cheese
  12. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  13. Bake 20-25 minutes or until cheese topping is brown and bubbling (best warm and fresh from the oven
Corn Casserole (Kari Lukins)

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup butter-melted
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 pkg Jiffy Corn Bread
  • 1 can whole kernal corn (drained)
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Diced Jalapenos (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. grease 9x9 pan
  3. In medium bowl combine butter, eggs, and corn bread mix
  4. Stir in both corn cans, sour cream, and 1 cup cheese
  5. salt and pepper stir
  6. Top with 1/2 cup cheese
  7. If adding jalapenos, add w/ corn (step 4)
  8. Cook 45 minutes until golden brown
Chocolate Kuchen

Ingredients:
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 3/4 cup milk warm
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 pkgs chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (pecans for me )
  • 1 egg beaten
Directions:
  1. In a small bowl, disolve yeast in water; set aside
  2. In large bowl, combine milk, butter, sugar and salt-stir until butter melts
  3. Beat in 2 eggs and vanilla
  4. Stir in yeast
  5. Gradually add flour/beating well
  6. flour flat surface
  7. place dough on surface and knead for 8-10 min
  8. place dough in lightly greased bowl and turn once/ cover with plastic wrap.
  9. let rise at room temp for about one and a half hours or doubled in size
  10. place dough back on floured surface knead one minute
  11. roll into 22x14 inch rectangle
  12. sprinkle w/ chocolate chips
  13. roll jelly roll style/ start with long side (seal seam)
  14. form into ring; seal ends
  15. place seam side down on baking sheet (I use my pizza stone)
  16. cut 2/3 way through ring at one ince intervals. Leave center intact
  17. cover w/ plastic wrap/ let rise one hour
  18. pre-heat oven to 350
  19. Brush bread with beaten egg
  20. bake for 25-30 minutes (BEST WARM BUT GREAT COLD TOO)
Magic Cookie Bars (Peggy Cain)

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 14oz  can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 6oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (f)
  2. Melt butter, add graham cracker and mix together well
  3. press into 9x13 shallow pan
  4. Pour condensed milk evenly over top
  5. Sprinkle Chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts on top
  6. press down firm
  7. bake 25-30 minutes
  8. cool completely
  9. cut into 2x1 inch bars
  10. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (f)
Monkey Bread (Adapted from Food Network)



Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 30 small buttermilk biscuits (from the can)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (I use pecans)
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (f)
  2.  Combine sugar and cinnamon in bowl
  3.  Cut bisuits in half and role in sugar mixture
  4.  Melt butter add brown sugar bring to boil and add nuts
  5.  Line lightly oiled bundt pan with biscuits
  6. pour 1/2 mixture over bisucuits
  7. add more mixtures
  8. pour more mixture
  9. bake 30 minutes
  10. turn cake on plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar
Pumkin Bread: (Marissa Fulford)

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pumkin pie filling
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
 Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degree (f). Oil 9x5 loaf pan
  2. Combine filling, oil, sugar, molasses and vanilla
  3. In separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves  and ginger.
  4. Slowly stir into pumpkin mixture, pour into pan
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes
