SUCCESS :)

*Edit* I forgot to write that the person who bought something from me is a total stranger, which makes the purchase that much cooler! Also, six random people have marked me as one of their etsy favorites :) If I knew how to make the spiders, I would sell them on etsy too.
Well surprise! I sold my first dragonfly today. It happened about five minutes after I listed it. I was SO excited. One is a start but more would be great! I sat outside today at our table with my umbrella over the table and created about five or six dragonflies. Every so often one of the kids outside would come over and tell me what color I should make next so today's were based on the whim of children. Well only the colors not the patterns. The one that was purchased was one I made today too :) It was really dainty and sweet. A couple of mothers thought I looked lonely I guess because next thing I knew I had company that I didn't really ask for. It's not that it bothered me, but honestly I just wanted to hang out and bead. Oh well, no worries. It was a bit distracting but I made it through OK. I have created seven so far today and may just take a break or make one or two. I am not sure. I have posted a whole bunch more on my etsy, so you can check them out if you want.

who where what when? Who bought it? someone you know? I ask becasue that would be super cool if it's a random person who stumbled upon your etsy site. It's still cool if someone you know bought it though:) Congratulations! And I LOVE this one on your blog! It might be my favorite.

It WAS just a random etsy person. I think that makes it more cool too. Corinnea said that was GREAT because it normally takes longer. YEAH ME!!!

Congrats on the dragonfly!! I want to order some (probably 4 or 5 of each color), but I need different colors. I need some that are between blue and turquoise and some that are light pink and fuschia. If you want I can mail you fabric samples to match the colors. Do you think you could do butterflies or flowers (like a daisy) too?

Margaret,

you could take pictures of the fabric and send it to my email if you want a match. I would match it as close as possible. Butterflies are not that much different, so I should be able to do it. As for the flower...it's worth a try.
