Update on Caden from Mom

Good Morning, Well we have all been home, me in CA and the children in Alaska for about 2 months now. It has been nice, but an adjustment. Attached is a picture of Caden from when we first got to Alaska. I will send a current picture as soon as Schelly sends me one. :-) Caden has been holding his own; blood counts were coming up slowly. His immune system is still low so he hasn't been able to go back to his regular preschool yet. Cameron is back in his school and doing great! He is in the advanced reading class, joined Cub Scouts and signed up for soccer. Schelly said she feels like she always running the kids to one place or another! I just laughed because I remember doing that for my children when they were growing up! But hey, keeping them busy certainly helped to keep them out of trouble. My little Caden went to the doctor Thursday for his cancer check-up and we did not get good news. His blood counts have dropped, he has lost weight and the paetcheia has gotten worse. Now, this could be normal because he got pink eye at child care and has a little cold. Schelly is to take his temp every night and if he gets a fever she will have to take in immediately. Meanwhile the doctor told her they will check his counts again in 2 weeks. Please keep Caden in your prayers, pray for his full recovery. It was so much fun being with him in Alaska to see him be a normal happy little boy again. I pray it will always be that way for him. So please pray and forward this to all your prayer warriors too. Thank you and God bless you. Cindy
