Well, the first day of school was yesterday and the kids started new schools here in California. Their mother was FAR more nervous than they were. I will post pictures of that soon. This is supposed to be about our trip to Southern California. We visited his family for two days (they live in Oceanside), went to Disneyland and California Adventure for four days, and then took a leisurely drive up the coast to come back north. We all had a wonderful time! While we were in Anaheim we stayed at the Hilton, which is normally 190 dollars a night-I write this because I named my own price on priceline and got it for 55 dollars a night for all five of us. I do LOVE saving money. Also, it gave us more money for the park. On our final day in the park, we went to one of the many parades that take place. Twice during that time the girls were pulled into the parade to dance. I will also try and put one of the videos for that as well. *Video too big so you'll just have to take my word that they were the cutest things EVER.
The girls posing with the Goofy statue. It was their idea to pose like Goofy himself. They are so cute!
The family with some of the CARS characters.
This first picture is our first day there. We were inside California Adventure. Stitch happens to be my girls' favorite character so they were really happy to take their picture with him even though Sierra looks like she is about to scream and run.
This was the one character that Michael wanted to pose with and didn't have to be reminded to smile. GEEE...I wonder why?
Michael, Madison and Sierra in the big O that is part of the California Adventure sign. They were very excited to get in there and did not want to stop and pose for this picture.
This is a picture from the is the second time we took the ride California Screaming. It is a huge roller coaster that the girls, Big Michale and I loved. Little Michael went on once and didn't want to go again. Take a look at the picture below because it was the first time we took the same ride...Madison looks terrified to me.
One of the big problems little Michael and I have with roller coasters is that we have to take off our glasses which then means we can't see. Don't like that, but would rather that than lose my glasses. Of course, his not seeing so he shouldn't be scared right?

Great photos! I really liked California Adventure when we were there last (it had been built between my visits)
And, best school year wishes. Do you have a placement yet?
I'm sooooooooooo jealous! I'm dreaming about Disneyland...just two tiny hours away if I ever get home. I miss you and your family! Tell my other husband hello;) and kiss my girls for me. Smack that boys head too while you're at it. I'm happy that you had a nice time on your trip.
Cool! Must be cool to pose beside the characters of cars. What cool family you have:) Stay happy:)
